The deans from more than 100 of America’s top law schools wrote a letter in support, concerning the training necessary for the next generation of lawyers to sustain our constitutional democracy and the rule of law. “The nation's law schools play a critical role in training the next generation of lawyers and upholding the core values of our profession,” remarked Heather K. Berkeley’s Measure Z — also known as the soda tax — is an initiative that aims to extend the 2014 ballot measure to continue the tax on sugar sweetened beverages. -
Oakland’s Measure OO is a new initiative to change the structure of the Oakland Public Ethics Commission. -
Oakland’s Measure NN is a new proposal aimed at funding public safety through a tax on property owners. -
Oakland Measure MM is a new initiative that aims to fund wildfire prevention in parts of the city with high fire risk. -
