On the next Your Call, we’ll talk about life in Iraq 16 years after the US invasion.
In the new novel, The Book of Collateral Damage, Iraqi poet and author Sinan Antoon follows Nameer, a young Iraqi scholar at Harvard hired to help two filmmakers document the devastation of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. He meets a man trying to catalogue everything destroyed by the war and grapple with loss. What is life like today for Iraqis, and what are their hopes for the future?
