Your Call: Hunger strikers demand an end to police brutality
On the May 4th edition of Your Call we’ll discuss the Frisco Five hunger strike.
Since April 21st, a grandmother, two rappers, an educator, and a supervisor candidate have chosen not to eat to protest the recent killings of Mario Woods, Alex Nieto, Amilcar Lopez, and Luis Gongora. The Frisco 5, who are camping out in front of the Mission Police Station, say they will not eat until Police Chief Greg Suhr steps down or resigns. What police reforms are they calling for? How are city officials responding? It’s Your Call with Rose Aguilar and you.
