This week on Open Air, host David Latulippe talks with conductor Robert Geary about the performance by the San Francisco Choral Society of ‘King David’ by Arthur Honegger, this weekend at the First Unitarian Church in San Francisco. Also, a conversation with Jesse Moss, director of the feature documentary ‘The Bandit’, the closing night feature at the SF International Film Festival, about 70s superstar Burt Reynolds, his best friend, roommate and stunt-double Hal Needham, and the making of the 1977 movie ‘Smokey and the Bandit’. Guest Conductor Pablo-Heras-Casado discusses his work at the San Francisco Symphony this week, in works by Haydn, Mozart, Stravinsky and Debussy. And actor Benjamin Scheuer shares details about his one-man coming-of-age show, 'The Lion',  which just opened at ACT’s Strand Theater.
