On this edition of Your Call’s Friday Media Roundtable, we’ll discuss coverage of the ongoing mass protests in Chile, which began with public anger against a three percent public transport fare hike, but it broadened to become a mass demonstration against neoliberalism and rising inequality.

Also this week, voters in many states across the US went to the polls to decide on a host of local and state issues, including gubernatorial races. We’ll discuss the results.

Guests:

Jonathan Franklin, investigative journalist based in Santiago, Chile
