ProducerPorfirio Rangel is a Producer for Sights & Sounds.
Porfirio graduated from KALW's 2019 Audio Academy class. After finding his love for arts & culture content he focused on producing Bay Area Beats features and stories that highlight underrepresented groups, especially among queer & Latinx folks. His work's earned him an award by the San Francisco Press Club. He's previously worked with KSFS, KGO Radio, and Out in the Bay. On his free time he loves reading comics, attending drag shows, and binge-watching TV shows.
