Protesters disrupt a pro-fossil fuel presentation organized by the Trump administration at the COP 23 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany.

During the climate conference in Bonn, Germany, delegates from nearly 200 countries worked on solutions to mitigate the impacts of climates change.

The US delegation, which was comprised of oil, gas and coal industry execs, pushed for more fossil fuel consumption. We’ll speak with a group of young environmental activists who traveled to Germany to take part in the summit and call on world leaders to keep it in the ground.

Guests:

Kyle Lemle, youth delegate with SustainUS to the UN Climate talks, and founder and co-director of the Thrive Choir

Charlie Jiang, youth delegate with SustainUS to the UN Climate talks, and program associate at the Environmental Defense Fund

Daisy Romero, youth delegate with the US People’s delegation to the UN Climate talks, and a member of  Local Governments for Sustainability and 350.org
