The 'No on 10' campaign has raised nearly $70 million dollars.

The campaign to kill Proposition 10 has ramped up. Landlords, property investors and others in the real estate industry have raised almost $70 million to keep the Costa Hawkins Rental Housing Act from being repealed, which would allow cities to expand rent control laws.

"Since the ads started running last month, support has dropped by over 20 percentage points. In the most recent poll, 25% of likely voters say they'll vote yes on Proposition 10, with 60% against it."

KALW’s Liza Veale explains how the campaign has targeted seniors, and, according to polls, cratered public support for the measure.
