Bay Area dance troupe embodies social change

Choreographer Nicole Klaymoon uses movement to honor the human stories often overlooked by mainstream media.  Through her company, Embodiment Project, she tries to enact social change through street dance, live song, theater, and spoken word.

KLAYMOON: My education was basically in the club . . . I understood this was both my spiritual practice, my prayer, and my training.

Embodiment Project will be performing their piece "Seed Language"  in SF’s Mission district as part of the 40th anniversary celebration of ODC Theater, where Klaymoon is resident choreographer. Find tickets here.
