On this edition of Your Call, we’ll discuss the recent mass shootings in Gilroy, CA, El Paso, TX, and Dayton, OH which all happened within just over a week of each other. Thirty-four people were killed and dozens more were injured.
In that same week, there were 10 other shootings around the country, including in Washington DC, Chicago, and New York. There have been more mass shootings in America than days so far in 2019 — 255 total, according to the Gun Violence Archive. What will it take to truly address the epidemic of gun violence in the US?
