With so much need, what's the best way to donate time, necessities or money?

  On this edition of Your Call, we discuss charitable giving. About $410 billion was given to charitable causes in 2017, and the majority of that came from individual donors, according to Charity Navigator.

But the need is immense: In 2017, 39.7 million Americans were living in poverty, more than half a million people were homeless, and 40 million people struggle with hunger, including 12 million children. What are the greatest needs in your community and how are you giving back during the holidays?
