CoCo Peru

Legendary drag performer CoCo Peru stars in Have You Heard? at San Francisco’s Oasis this weekend. Miss Coco Peru will tell stories from the past, perform  her classic monologues and songs and deliver new material. Shows run from Thursday, January 10th thru Saturday, January 12th.

“CoCo Peru is the best monologist in the business, Drag queen or otherwise, she is brilliant.”

SF Sketchfest is honoring award-winning actress Carol Burnett during an in-person discussion and Q & A with the comedic icon. Since 2002, Sketchfest has featured hundreds of performers at locations all over San Francisco. Join the conversation Monday, January 14th at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco.

“Carol Burnett is the embodiment of a living legend. She’s done so much for comedy, and she was such a trailblazer for women in comedy.”

The Great Mac ‘n Cheese Melt-Off is going down this Saturday, January 12th at the SoMa StrEat Food Park. There will be mac and cheese specials from over 20 different food trucks and pop-up vendors.

“Going to this event doesn’t fit in with my concept of losing weight, however, I am someone who vicariously enjoys watching people enjoy food, as twisted as that sounds, so I still want to recommend it.”

You can catch Peaches Christ at SF Sketchfest this Sunday, January 13th in “The Roast of Peaches Christ."

The laughs with Peaches continue in her parody of The Shining. Varla Jean Merman joins Peaches Christ in The Whining on Tuesday, January 22nd at the Gateway Theatre in San Francisco.
