Fires are raging around the Bay Area and the smoke is thick in the air. One of the 'lightning complex fires' — LNU has caused major damage and evacuations in the North Bay.

As of this morning, the fires had scorched more than 350 thousand acres in Napa, Sonoma, Solano, Lake and Yolo counties, making it the second largest in California’s history by acreage burned. A major concern last night, as with much of the Bay Area, was the possibility of dry lightning further exacerbating the already dire situation.
