A Zen Experience At The Golden Gate Park Casting Club
In this Audiograph, we head to the Golden Gate Park Angling and Casting Club.
Fly casting is a form of fishing, where you cast out your line with a fake fly at the end and you try to land it in the water near the fish. Or, if you’re just casting, near the target.
"I'm just here to work on my stroke, you know, like golfers do, it's the same thing with fishing, you know?"
This story originally aired in February of 2016 as part of our Audiograph series, a radio project mapping the Bay Area’s sonic signature. Audiograph tells the story of where you live and the people who live there with you.
