More than a dozen candidates to be president of the United States were in San Francisco over the weekend for the California Democratic Convention.

It was a massive event at the Moscone Center, bringing together the state’s dominant political party. And in the run-up to the 2020 election, this was the biggest gathering of presidential hopefuls so far.
