Activist Amy Farah Weiss wants to end homelessness as San Francisco's mayor

Amy Farah Weiss, a San Francisco community activist and mayoral candidate in 2018 and 2015, spoke to KALW’s Ben Trefny about her campaign, her work on the Saint Francis Homelessness Challenge, and about issues such as climate change, divesting, racism, reparations, economics and prosperity.

"No more do we let someone sleep on the street without access to a toilet — can I get an amen? Can everybody in S.F. agree that no more we allow someone to live in a place where they feel like they don't belong, that they're a pariah on society?"
