One KALW listener wanted to know why there are no sound walls along either Highway 24 or Highway 980.
Sound walls are built along freeways to block traffic sounds and noise pollution and can be found alongside a number of California highways. We sent reporter Corinne Smith to find out why some thoroughfares have these noise barriers and others do not.
