Karla Brundage reads her poem “The Present.” The poem was first published in “Our Spirits Carry Our Voices” anthology by Pacific Raven Press. It is part of a poetic exchange Brundage founded between Ghana and Oakland called West Oakland to West Africa Poetry Exchange.
