This month on Bay Made, it’s “The Bay Votes 2024” — KALW’s coverage of this year’s election.
Today we head to KALW’s community events space at 220 Montgomery in downtown San Francisco, for a panel discussion on San Francisco’s Propositions D and E, co-presented by the San Francisco Public Press.
Proposition D limits the number of commissions that the city can have, reduces the administrative powers of commissions, and restores the mayor’s authority to hire and fire most department heads.
Proposition E establishes a task force charged with making recommendations to the mayor and Board of Supervisors on reforming San Francisco’s boards and commissions.
Moderated by Lisa Rudman of the San Francisco Public Press.
