Join KALW in celebrating our Sights & Sounds of East Oakland program. Enjoy digital storytelling from our Oakland Voices reporters, a powerful performance by poet James Cagney, a sneak peek of our Where is East Oakland? documentary and delicious food from a local eatery. Hip-hop artist and actress Ryan Austin will be hosting. The event is FREE.
It all takes place on Tuesday, August 27th 6-8pm at the 81st Avenue Library, located at 1021 81st Ave in East Oakland.
