An NGO worker holds a boy at the Mediterranea Saving Humans NGO boat, as they sail off Italy's southernmost island of Lampedusa, just outside Italian territorial waters, on Thursday, July 4, 2019.

On this edition of Your Call's media roundtable, we’ll discuss coverage of migrants who cross the Mediterranean from war-torn Libya to Europe. Since January, more than 400 migrants have died making the perilous journey.

We’ll also discuss the long term impacts of the Trump administration stacking federal courts with conservative judges. So far, 123 federal judges have been confirmed, including 41 to the federal courts of appeal.

Guests:

Ben Ehrenreich, columnist with the Nation and author of The Way to the Spring: Life and Death in Palestine

Elie Mystal, executive editor of Above the Law and contributing writer for The Nation
