Media Roundtable: Anti-Government Protests In Iran & The Iran Cables

  On this edition of Your Call’s media roundtable, we’ll discuss coverage of the deadly crackdown on nationwide anti- governmnet protests in Iran, which were sparked by steep hikes in fuel prices.

According to Amnesty International, more than 106 protesters have been killed. Thousands have been injured and arrested. The government has also imposed communications blackouts. We’ll also learn about The Iran Cable, which is an unprecedented leak of 700 pages revealing the extent of Iran’s influence in Iraq.
