Art collective raises awareness about SF's vanishing Black population

The Three Point Nine Collectiveis a group of Black artists in San Francisco. They take their name from the expected percentage of Black San Franciscans left by the 2020 census.

Three members of the collective – Michael Ross, Nancy Cato, and William Rhodes – spoke with KALW's Todd Whitney on the group's formation, what it means for San Francisco to lose its Black community, and what they hope to accomplish with their art.

WILLIAM RHODES: Black people coming together in San Francisco is a revolutionary thing.
