Join us this Saturday (1/19) at 3 p.m. for music and conversation with Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey, two members of the iconic trio.
They'll talk about their dedication to folk music and participating in the 1963 March On Washington--the site of Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech. They also share their thoughts about Bob Dylan going electric. We'll listen to the songs of Peter, Paul and Mary, Pete Seeger, and Bob Dylan, as well as Noel Paul Stookey's surprise hit song about Donald Trump that went viral with 800,000 hits.
If you missed today's special, you can listen to the entire program on-demand for one week following the on-air broadcast via KALW's Local Music Player. Go to the KALW homepage, click on the "music & arts" tab, scroll down to "Folk Music & Beyond" and follow the prompts.
