French jazz singer and recording artist Raquel Bitton has been heralded as the greatest interpreter of the music from the Edith Piaf repertoire, and was born in Marrakech, Morocco. She has just returned from this incredible world music event and will be Emmanuel Nado's guest on this Thursday's Africamix.
She’ll take you on an audio journey to Fes, describing this amazing city and the artists who performed there, including Youssou Ndour, Rokia Traore and 13 years old sensation Nouhaila El Kalai. Thursday at 9pm.
