Your Call's Media Roundtable: Trump's statement on Jerusalem, the crisis in Yemen & oil under Trump

Dec 7, 2017

On Wednesday, Donald Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. On the next Your Call’s media roundtable, we’ll discuss media coverage of Trump's statement, what life is like for Palestinians living in Jerusalem, and the expansion of Israeli settlements. We'll also look at the worsening humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

Also this week, oil companies submitted lease bids for the largest oil-lease sale ever offered in Alaska’s National Petroleum Reserve. We'll discuss Trump's rush to dismantle environmental policies and open up even more federal lands for oil and gas extraction.

Guests:

Sherine Tadros, head of Amnesty International's UN office in New York, and an award-winning journalist
