Any parents would be interested in this news: college tuition is going up this academic year. Stanford University is raising its tuition three percent for next school year. Including room and board, the cost for an undergraduate education tops $50,000 a year. Those with a family income of $100,000 or less, however, will earn a free ride. With an income of $60,000 or below, the university will supply free room and board with the waived tuition.
