Mesquite Spring in Death Valley can be an incredibly quiet desert environment. But on a spring morning, this place fills up with the sounds of birds: Gambel’s quail calls, white-crowned sparrows’ songs, and hummingbirds’ wing beats. This recording was made by Jack Hines with Wild Sanctuary.
