Aisea Taimani

Aisea Taimani blends genres, including R&B, gospel, hip hop, and music from his Tongan culture. His band Minor Islands' latest album is “Closer to Home.” It's about him finding home when his cultural background is both Tongan and American.

Music was how we connected with each other, how we remembered where we came from, how we connected with God.
