91.7 KALW seeks talented on-air personalities to serve as announcer operators on an as-needed basis. The position requires knowledge of broadcast operations, including production of both talk and music programs. Candidates should have a strong on-air presence and the ability to deliver written copy with fluency. Knowledge of public radio a plus, as is proximity to KALW’s studios in San Francisco. Women and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply. This is an as-needed position; shifts will vary.
