My Mixtape asks people from the Bay Area and beyond to contribute a song that is meaningful to them. Bay area journalist Nathanael Johnson tells us why he chose this choral piece by French composer Gabriel Fauré, which he first sang while in choir as a teen. The recording presented here was by Stephen Cleobury and the Choir of King's College, Cambridge.
