This week on Open Air, host David Latulippe talks with Jim van Buskirk and Karen Sundheim about the events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hormel Center at the San Francisco Public Library; Graham Lustig, director of the Oakland Ballet, shares details about the company’s 51st season, which includes the Company’s San Francisco debut. From TheatreWorks, guest director Robert Kelley talks about their new adaptation of the classic Cyrano de Bergerac tale. Violinist/Trad fiddle player Colm O’Riain stops by to talk about the musical tribute to Ireland’s Poet Patriots at Grace Cathedral on April 22nd; and singers Matt Hanscom and Kirk Dougherty talk about their roles in the Opera San José’s production of Andre Previn’s “A Streetcar Named Desire”, which opens this weekend.
