This week, host David Latulippe talks with mezzo-soprano Laurie Rubin who opens the 10th anniversary season of Music at Meyer.  Also, a talk with the creative energies behind the world premiere of "Your Body Is Not a Shark," a performance piece encompassing dance, live music, and sound collage.  Cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, ​choreographer Cid Pearlman, and poet Denise Leto join us in studio; we talk to British composer Robin Holloway who is in town for performances of his orchestration of Debussy's settings of Poems of Paul Verlaine, commissioned and performed by the San Francisco Symphony, with Renee Fleming, and for the first performance of his piece Ocean Voyage, as part of a semi-staged multi-media production of Ibsen's Peer Gynt at Davies Symphony Hall.   Also, regular contributor Peter Robinson joins in on the Downton Abbey fever to discuss the new season. Original broadcast date Thursday, January 10 at 1pm.
