Judy Grahn's "Common Woman" poems in the '60s and '70s inspired a generation of lesbian feminists. Her 2012 book, "A Simple Revolution: The Making of an Activist Poet," is part history, part memoir and a brilliant read. In 2014, she was SFPride's Lifetime Achievement Grand Marshall. I profiled Judy in the 1982 NPR-funded series "By A Woman Writ," and share some of that in my interview. Airs 7pm PDT Thursday, Sept 17, 2015 on kalw.org and 91.7fm. (First broadcast July 2013)
