Local singer-songwriter Chuck Prophet hosts the internet radio show "A Trip In the Country." Fans know Chuck from his days as the frontman of the rock group Green on Red. He now writes and performs a mix of alternative-country and rock. Chuck Prophet has collaborated with such greats as Solomon Burke and Alejandro Escovedo. He opened for Lucinda Williams. San Jose music legend Kid Andersen has produced more than 100 blues and soul records at his Greaseland Studios. Fans can enjoy live recorded jam sessions and performances on his YouTube channel. The latest series is the Greaseland Fridays with Friends Festival. Greaseland is Kid's home and watching his videos reminds you of having jam sessions at a friend's house.
