Today on Your Call: Why isn't fracking regulated in California?

On today's Your Call, we’ll talk about California’s laws around hydraulic fracturing, also known as fracking.  It’s a method of extracting oil and natural gas from shale formations underground. Several pieces of legislation are on the table that would require oil and gas companies to disclose the cocktail of chemicals used in the fracking process.  Will the transparency laws be enough to protect California’s air and water from contamination? Join us at 10 or emailfeedback@yourcallradio.org.  What do you want to know about fracking near you?  It’s Your Call with Rose Aguilar and You.
