Cole explores how dockworkers in San Francisco and Durban, South Africa have fought imperialism and racism from the 1940s to today. We’ll also speak with Keith Shanklin, the first Black president of ILWU Local 34 in Oakland, about the West Coast ports shutdown on Juneteenth to honor George Floyd.
