Your Call: Nukes in your neighborhood?

Titan Missile

On the October 5th edition of Your Call, we’ll speak with investigative journalist Eric Schlosser and filmmaker Robert Kenner about their new documentary Command and Control.

In 1980, a worker at a US Air Force base in Arkansas accidentally punctured the fuel tank of an intercontinental ballistic missile carrying the most powerful nuclear warhead in the US arsenal. The film documents the frantic hours following that accident. What would happen if we had a similar accident involving a nuclear weapon today? Tweet your questions and comments to @yourcallradio and join us live at 10am with me, Rose Aguilar and you.
