My Mixtape asks people from the Bay Area and beyond to contribute a song that is meaningful to them. In this installment, Brontez Purnell, a member of Blank Map, a Bay Area collective of queer Black artist-performer-musicians, tells us why he chose "I Hate Your Guts," by Loli & The Chones.
