Join us this Saturday at 3 pm on "Folk Music & Beyond" for Bob Dylan and The Basement Tapes revisited. The original tapes were released by Dylan and The Band in 1967. Since then, more songs have emerged from the Basement vaults. A few months ago, Dylan released "The Basement Tapes Complete"--a six CD box set. We'll hear some of the new unreleased tracks, as well as alternate takes. We'll also hear "The New Basement Tapes" produced by T Bone Burnett. Dylan recently found a stash of Basement lyrics that he didn't set to music. Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, Rhiannon Giddens, and others try their hand at setting Dylan's lyrics to music.
