Police detain an activist during a protest in the center of Moscow, Russia, Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019. People rallied Saturday against the exclusion of some city council candidates from Moscow's upcoming election.

On this edition of Your Call’s media roundtable, we’ll discuss coverage of the ongoing protests in Russia. Security forces have arrested more than 1,000 people at rallies against the exclusion of opposition candidates in Moscow’s local elections.

We’ll also talk about the impacts of the Trump administration's new rule prohibiting recipients of Title X, the federal family planning program, from making referrals for abortions. About four million women are served nationwide by the Title X program.
