YLR tonight, in conjunction with the Labor and Employment Law Section of the California Lawyers Association, looks at workplace investigations, particularly amidst the “me too” movement. Standing in for Jeff, Your Legal Rights Guest Host Jamal Anderson a Deputy San Mateo County District Attorney, formerly, he worked in Capitol Hill, ten memorable years including as aide to Nancy Pelosi in the Speaker's transition from Minority Leader to Speaker of the House. Guest Michael A Robbins began his labor law career 1977, at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). More recently, he is founder of EXTTI: Expert Testimony, Training & Investigations. His long-time experience providing expert testimony for plaintiffs and defendants combines with training in labor relations. Guest David Marek works with the law offices of Amy Oppenheimer and has nearly twenty years experience in employment law. He also has his own legal practice in California, New York and Florida and has focused on representing employees and small companies in both a litigation and non-litigation role. David has investigated high-level officials in the private and public sector, and he has investigated allegations of discrimination and harassment based on age, race, religion, disability, sexual misconduct and sexual orientation and identity.
