His reporting focuses on disability, mental health, and healthcare inequities, and has won awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Public Media Journalists Association, and the San Francisco Press Club. Before moving into public radio, he worked in video production and social impact strategy.
Chris is an East Bay native, and is also a photographer, musician, and avid home cook.
