Julie Burkhart, CEO of the Trust Women Foundation abortion-rights group, speaks during a Kansas Senate committee hearing against a bill banning a procedure used in 8 percent of the abortions performed in Kansas, Monday, Feb. 2, 2015.

On this edition of Your Call, we’ll have a conversation with Julie Burkhart, founder and CEO of Trust Women Foundation, a pro-choice and reproductive justice organization based in Wichita, Kansas.

Burkhart worked side by side with Dr. George Tiller for seven years before he was assassinated in 2009 by an anti-abortion extremist. With anti-abortion legislation sweeping the country, what challenges do abortion providers face and how are they fighting back?
