What do you get when you take a world famous burlesque singer, add members of the brass band Polkacide and the Extra Action Marching Band, mix in a former drummer for the Dead Kennedys, and then give them a Captain Beefheart songbook? This band: Pachuco Cadaver.
They’ll be performing this Saturday, January 17th as part of Hardly Strictly Personal, an arts and music festival dedicated to Captain Beefheart, happening at the Berkeley Arts Space on University Avenue.
