Bay-Delta Plan divides water users across the state

The SFPUC has come out against the Bay-Delta plan because it would affect the amount of their water supply

Late summer in Sacramento has been busy. Governor Brown signed a law eliminating bail in California, and lawmakers just passed a bill that would require the state to get all its energy from carbon-free sources by 2045. That’s the most ambitious clean energy goal in the nation. But for our environment reporter Angela Johnston, the proposal that drew her attention was about water. The past month there have been debates over how to manage the water in the Delta - the Bay Area’s largest source of freshwater, and Angela joins us now to tell us more.
