Edibles ban withdrawn in Colorado // DenverPost.com        Monday saw a proposal to stop sales of most edible forms of recreational marijuana; Tuesday saw the withdrawal of that proposal.

Federal District Court Judge to hear testimony on cannabis classification // blog.norml.org   “This is the first time in recent memory that a federal judge has granted an evidentiary hearing on a motion challenging the statute which classifies cannabis to be one of the most dangerous illicit substances in the nation.”  The hearing is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm today in Sacramento.

Fresno: A notable drop in violence connected to pot grows // FresnoBee.com    A cultivation ban in the county earlier this year is credited with the lower numbers. "These grow sites are not peaceful," sheriff says.
