This week on Open Air, host David Latulippe talks with Shira Cion, Executive Artistic Director and one of the vocalists of  Women’s Vocal Ensemble Kitka, to discuss the group’s annual ‘Wintersongs’ tour, which starts on December 7 in Santa Cruz and runs through December 21, with concerts in San Rafael, Menlo Park, Oakland, San Francisco and Woodside. 

This week, conversations with Co-founder and Artistic Director of the Ragazzi Boys Chorus, Joyce Keil, who shares details about the boys’ upcoming concerts here and at Carnegie Hall; Bay Area actress Sharon Rietkirk talks about her role in Stephen Sondheim’s “Marry Me a Little” at Theatreworks in Mountain View; Hershey Felder is back in town, this time as Leonard Bernstein, in a one-man show called “Maestro” at Berkeley Rep.  Also, a talk with Rob Bailis of Cal Performances and composer Uri Caine about the Ojai North concerts this weekend in Berkeley.   Open Air with David Latulippe ~ 6/12/14 at 1pm.
