The UN High Commissioner for Refugees recently warned that many EU borders – from Greece to the Balkans – are increasingly impossible to pass for vulnerable asylum seekers. Greece has been accused of pushing back boats to prevent people from reaching the EU.
Later in the show, we'll discuss President Biden's first press conference and widespread criticism of the White House press corps for failing to ask questions about pressing issues, including COVID and the economic crisis. They also failed to ask substantive questions about US immigration policy and the human rights of refugees and asylum seekers on the US-Mexico border.
