On this edition of Your Call, we’re discussing Election Day results. It’s still too early to call a winner as states continue to count incoming mail-in ballots. While Trump has falsely claimed a victory, Biden is ahead in electoral votes.
More than 139 million votes have been counted, and the Associated Press is projecting a total vote of nearly 173 million, which would be a record. In a major win, Joe Biden is projected to be the first Democrat to win Arizona in 24 years. Trump is currently ahead in Pennsylvania, which he won in 2016 and could determine the outcome to this year's election. Trump is also the projected winner in Florida, where he’s shown strength among Latino voters. Only two Democrats have flipped a Senate seat.
